Volunteers play a huge role in our efforts to rebuild Haiti and help the Haitian people. Particularly if you have medical training, you can make a tremendous difference. If you would like to work with us, please fill out the form below.

Volunteering in disaster environments for humanitarian relief operations requires a tremendous amount of patience, endurance, cooperation and fortitude. Volunteers are expected to be available to serve, work and assist each day that they are at Petionville Camp. From Monday-Saturday work hours can be long, and daily schedules may be irregular. Living conditions are rustic. Volunteers live in tents, shower outdoors, and use porta-potties.

J/P HRO has a strict no media policy (including photos). One designated staffer takes all photos of camp. These photos include photos of volunteers and are available to document a volunteer’s time in camp.
