Contact your Representatives - End the War in Afghanistan & Prevent War with Iran

This Friday, Congress will be voting on the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The NDAA commits $642 billion of taxpayer money to the military budget, with $88 billion authorized to continue the war in Afghanistan.  

Representatives Lee, McGovern, Conyers, and others have introduced strong amendments aimed at stopping the war and preventing a military confrontation with Iran.  Though we believe that overall the NDAA should not be passed, these amendments offer the best opportunity to end the wars, bring our troops home, and ensure they are never again sent to a preemptive war of aggression.
