Dear Supporter,
Every day in our country, women and children are living in extreme danger as a result of anti-immigrant enforcement policies like Arizona's SB1070, Georgia's HB87, and the federal so-called “Secure Communities” program.
That is why I, and other women from the National Domestic Workers Alliance, are in Atlanta, Georgia today as part of the We Belong Together delegation, to meet with the women and children most gravely affected by Georgia’s new law.
We believe that women and children coming together around the country can turn things around. Our hope is that this delegation will spark a new sense of urgency for togetherness and action.
Please visit the new We Belong Together website, follow us on Facebook and Twitter, and forward this email to tell your friends about this exciting new initiative to support women uniting for their children and families.
Warmly,
Ai-jen Poo,
Director, National Domestic Workers Alliance
