NDWA Member at 99% Spring Training: I am a domestic worker, and I am the 99%

Last weekend was amazing — domestic workers joined with tens of thousands of others at 99% Spring trainings across the country, to build a movement for economic justice and dignity for the 99%. If you weren't able to join us, the training is now available in an online version.
Here's what one of our members had to say:
El taller realmente entiendes y practicas como hacer una accion directa no violenta y efectiva... Me impresiono mucho ver el video de los "soñadores" cuando decidieron hacer desovediencia cilvil, aunque talvez no lo podemos hacer nosotros nos empuja hacer los cambios para que nuestros hijos no pasen lo que estamos pasando.
With the training you really understand and practice how to take effective non-violent direct action... I was really moved to see the video of the "Dreamers" when they decided to take civil disobedience. Even though we can't always do it ourselves it pushes us to create change for our children so that they don't have to go through what we are living through.
Over the next two weeks, NDWA and all of our partners in the 99% Spring are hoping to train tens of thousands more people to be part of the movement and ready for action.
- If you missed the in-person training, start training online now to get geared up for action. The training only takes about two hours, it doesn't have to be done all at once, and includes video of NDWA members telling their stories!
- If you were able to join a 99% Spring training last weekend, can you recruit five friends to join the effort by taking the online training?
Thank you for being part of the movement for domestic workers rights, the movement for a caring economy, and the 99% Spring!
