Protect Access to Birth Control
In January, President Obama and the Department of Health and Human Services announced that they are standing strong on no-cost birth control. The Obama administration did this despite being under enormous pressure from the religious right.
Social conservatives -- led by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops -- have decided that if you're a student or employee of a religious affiliated organization, they have the right to deny you any medical coverage they don't agree with.
Some members of Congress are trying to stand in the way of this critical health coverage and submitting bills that would reverse President Obama's decision.
Encourage our Senators and Representatives in Washington, D.C. to stand strong on this issue!
Students and employees at religious affiliated organizations deserve birth control coverage too.
Thanks for taking action in support of birth control coverage for all women.
