Educate Your Community: Send Letters-to-the-Editor of Your Local Newspapers

Help build the support necessary to stop federal funding for the mass removal of mustangs from our public lands!

Recent news of cruel treatment of wild horses in the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM's) roundup in the Antelope Complex in northeastern Nevada is again drawing public attention to the plight of the cherished American mustang on public lands in the West.

As Congress considers fiscal legislation for the remainder of 2011 and for 2012, it is more important than ever that we spread the word about the waste of our tax dollars on this inhumane, costly and broken federal program.

Soon, we will ask you to contact your Congressmembers and Senators directly. But for now, you can help us build our grassroots army of American citizens who are willing to speak up for the mustangs and demand an end to federal funding for the mass removal of wild horse from our Western public lands.

Please take a moment to submit a letter-to-the-editor to educate your community about this urgent situation. It's easy . . . . please read on.
