I support the People’s Rights Amendment.

This Amendment to the U.S. Constitution will put an end to the ridiculous idea that corporations are people.  It will overturn the Supreme Court’s disastrous Citizens United ruling and put our democracy, and America itself, back in the hands of we, the people. It's been introduced in Congress as H.J. Res. 21, by Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA) with bi-partisan co-sponsorship from Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) and many other Members of Congress.

The movement for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United has huge momentum: already, eleven states have called for one, as have 450 cities, towns, and counties, and more than 2,000 elected officials.
