Californians - Thank Sen. Boxer!

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), who chairs the Senate Committee that has jurisdiction over transportation, fought hard to preserve Transportation Enhancements when Sen. Coburn (R-OK) tried to eliminate it in the transportation extension.  Sen. Boxer has also publicly stated that Transportation Enhancements will be included in the reauthorization with some additional flexibility provided to states, and that there will be dedicated funding for bicycling and walking.

California residents - please thank Sen. Boxer for her leadership!  And please ask anyone you know in California that cares about bicycling and walking to do the same.
