Demand Justice and Water for Dimock, PA Residents Afflicted by Fracking

It wasn’t a flood or natural disaster that left eleven families in Dimock, PA without drinking water. The disaster in Dimock was created single-handedly by the Cabot Oil and Gas Corporation’s use of the hazardous gas drilling technique known as fracking.

The DEP has already acknowledged that Cabot was blame for the contamination, and for three years the State of Pennsylvania forced Cabot to supply the affected families with replacement water. But now, in a stunning travesty of justice, the DEP has reversed their decision, and the Dimock residents may be forced to return to "Dimock Lemonade"—water so contaminated it runs bright yellow or chocolate brown, water that is full of toxic chemicals, flammable gas, and radioactive material.

Take action below to demand that the Inspector General of Pennsylvania investigate the DEP's failure to protect citizens, and ask EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson to intervene in Pennsylvania if the state agency refuses to do its job!
