“Freeze Our Fukushimas” campaign meets with NRC officials at headquarters

On October 7th Beyond Nuclear was joined by nuclear engineers, safe energy activists and community leaders in a public meeting at the headquarters of the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission to call for the suspension of the operating licenses of all Fukushima-style General Electric Mark 1 boiling water reactors in the United States. More than 8,000 of you have co-petitioned with Beyond Nuclear to shut down the most dangerous reactors in America.
